DUP Leader Says Stormont Won't Survive If NI Protocol Issues Aren't Resolved.

EU Commission vice-President is visiting Northern Ireland today for discussions

The DUP leader says Stormont won't survive if issues with the Northern Ireland protocol aren't resolved.

The North remains in the European Union single market for goods and continues to apply EU customs rules.

Jeffrey Donaldson has also confirmed that DUP Ministers will immediately withdrawn from North-South structures.

Mr Donaldson says the future of the power-sharing government is at stake if there aren't big changes

The Sinn Fein leader's labelled the comments by the DUP leader as  'reckless, irresponsible and a short sighted election stunt'.

Mary Lou Mc Donald says they are threatening the stability of the political institutions in midst of a Covid pandemic.

She says the DUP is clearly in panic mode, driven by poor opinion polls.
