Died due to lung cancer
Senior British politicians, family and friends have gathered for the funeral of former Northern Ireland Secretary, and MP James Brokenshire.
The 53-year-old died from lung cancer earlier this month.
Mr. Brokenshire was first diagnosed with the disease in December 2017.
He was described as "unassuming" and the "most decent of men" during the service at a church, in Bexley in south-east London.
Fellow Tory MP, David Amess - who was killed last week - was also remembered.
Mr. Brokenshire is survived by his wife Cathy & 3 children.
Genuine privilege - if that's the right word - to go along to James Brokenshire's funeral in Bexley today.
