Man Who Live Streamed Himself Racially Abusing 3 England Footballers Is Jailed

Euro 2020 final in June

In the UK, a football fan who live streamed himself racially abusing three England footballers during the Euro 2020 final has been jailed.

The Crown Prosecution Service says Jonathon Best took to social media to complain about three players who missed penalties in the final against Italy,  Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho & Bukaya Sako.

It was noted the post contained "a barrage of racist abuse."

Mr. Best, a 52 year-old forklift driver, has been sentenced to 10 weeks behind bars.
