Music and football will come together as a host of international stars perform at the opening ceremonies of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Katy Perry, Alanis Morissette, and Michael Buble are among the headline acts confirmed for the opening ceremonies of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
FIFA has announced that each of the three hosts nations, Mexico, Canada, and the United States, will stage its own celebration as the tournament gets underway in June.
The World Cup begins on June 11th in Mexico City, where Mexico will play South Africa.
Canadian artists including Alanis Morissette and Michael Buble will perform in Toronto ahead of Canada's opening match, while Katy Perry will headline the ceremony in Los Angeles before the United States take on Paraguay.
BLACKPINK star Lisa, along with artists such as Future, Anitta, and Rema, will also feature in the U.S. event.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11th to July 19th across North America.
