No ceremonies taking place to mark the anniversary, because of Covid 19.
Northern Ireland is 100 years old today.
Last year, the Northern Secretary Brandon Lewis announced 3 million pound fund for a series of events to mark the occasion entitled "Our Story in the Making: NI Beyond 100".
However, no official ceremonies have been organised to mark the centenary.
Covid restrictions mean large outdoor gatherings are still banned, while there are also huge political sensitivities surrounding partition on the island of Ireland.
