Germany triggering warning over potential gas supply disruption
The Polish Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, has revealed his country will take steps to end Russian oil imports by the end of the year.
The country has already heavily reduced its dependence on it, following the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine.
The announcement comes one day day after Poland revealed it is banning imports of coal from Russia.
Elsewhere, Germany is triggering an early warning signal over potential gas supply disruption.
It follows demands from Russia to be paid in roubles - which Germany alongside the rest of the G7 is rejecting.
Germany's economy minister says its gas storage facilities are currently approximately 25% full.
