Question to be posed - "Should Scotland be an independent country?"
The Scottish First Minister has set a date and question for another referendum on independence.
Nicola Sturgeon has proposed it takes place on 19th October 2023 - with voters to be asked "Should Scotland be an independent country?"
The 51 year-old insists the Scottish National Party's victory in elections last year gives her a mandate for another vote.
With the UK government opposed to the referendum, Ms. Sturgeon says papers are already being filed with the UK Supreme Court to test whether her plans are lawful:
