Lessons to be segregated
The Taliban says women can continue to study at Afghan universities - but lessons will be gender segregated.
Video footage shows men and women separated by a curtain down the middle of a room.
#Kabul’s private Ibn-e Sina University has posted these photos about its segregated classes. It was one of the liveliest private universities in the capital of #Afghanistan, says researcher @ali_adili pic.twitter.com/6kUvSEmFif

The plans were outlined by the fundamentalist group's higher education minister, Abdul Baqi Haqqani.
He confirmed the ban on mixed-sex education, saying “We have no problems in ending the mixed-education system. The people are Muslims and they will accept it”.
The group have promised to preserve female education * women's rights, but will do so according to Islamic law.
The new Afghan government is all male.
