To increase vaccine uptake
The US President is making Covid-19 vaccines mandatory for all staff that work with the Federal Government.
Joe Biden has also made it a requirement that employers - with more than 100 workers - will need to be fully vaccinated or tested for the virus weekly.
It's one of his strongest moves yet by Mr. Biden - to increase uptake.
Speaking at the White House, the US President strongly criticised those who have not yet taken up the offer:
The Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require that all employers with 100 or more employees ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week. pic.twitter.com/Yn2kDf63FU
