US troops ended 20-year campaign
The United States' most senior general has described the Taliban as "ruthless", and says it's unclear if the group will change.
Mark Milley admits it is "possible" the US would have to work with the group on counter-terrorism operations, against the so-called Islamic State group.
America's evacuation operation helped more than 124,000 Afghans leave Kabul.
