Anthony Blinken met Russia's Foreign minister earlier in Geneva
The US Secretary of State says he's had "frank" discussions with his Russian counterpart - but there was no breakthrough over Ukraine.
Anthony Blinken has met Moscow's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva.
Russia has massed tens of thousands of troops near the Ukrainian border - which has prompted fears of a possible invasion.
Moscow is insisting it has not threatened the Ukrainian people - nor is it planning an attack on its neighbour.
Speaking through a translator this morning, Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov says he hopes emotions will cool down and awaits to hear from America on its security demands:
