Twenty-two motorists were caught speeding during a Garda speed check in Kilshanroe over the weekend, as Gardai launched their annual Christmas road safety campaign.

"Let’s leave the flying to Santa this Christmas," Gardaí said, urging drivers to adhere to posted speed limits throughout the festive season.
