One driver was caught doing 124 kilometres an hour in a 60 zone in Dunboyne, Co. Meath yesterday, while more than 40 drivers were detected using a mobile phone or not wearing a seat belt.
Gardaí are reminding all road users to slow down and take extra care over the weekend.
