2,854 People In Co. Kildare Diagnosed With Covid-19 In The 2 Weeks To Monday

Incidence rate remains below national average

2,854 cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Co. Kildare, in the 2 weeks to midnight on Monday, 29th December.

The county's incidence rate is 1,282.7 cases, per 100,000 of the population.

The incidence rate of the county still remains below the national average, which is 1,316.9 cases for the same 14 day period.

Nationally, during those 2 weeks, 62,711 infections were notified.

Co. Offaly is the only county with an incidence rate below 1000.

Counties Carlow & Meath continue to have the highest incidence rates in the country, at 1870.7 & 1841.8, respectively.
