257 post offices have closed in the past ten years, according to figures from An Post.
They were released following a parliamentary question from Sinn Féin TD David Cullinane.
Of the post offices to close between 2015 and 2025 - 201 were located in rural areas.
4 post offices closed in Kildare, all of which were in rural areas including Two-Mile House, Moone, Donadea and Naraghmore.
Cork had the largest number of closures at 34, followed by 21 in Galway, 21 in Dublin, 19 in Donegal and 18 in Mayo.
