645 Cars Seized In Kildare In 2022 For Having No Insurance.

104 vehicles were seized in 2023, up to February 28th.

645 vehicles were seized by Gardai in Kildare in 2022 for having no insurance.

In 2023, from January 1st to February 28th, 104 vehicles were seized for the same reason.

The figures were provided in response to a Parliamentary Question asked by Social Democrats TD in Kildare North, Catherine Murphy.

The seizures were made under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act in the Kildare Division for the offence of driving without insurance.
