At Least Three Kildare Politicians On Russian Blacklist

Kildare North TD says it won’t change his stance on Russia.

Kildare North TD James Lawless says he no concerns about being on the Russian blacklist of 52 Irish politicians and officials.

Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl is another Kildare representative on the travel ban list, as is Senator Fiona O'Loughlin.

There have been several calls to expel the Russian ambassador, who was summoned to the Department of Foreign Affairs yesterday.

Speaking to Kildare Today, on Kfm, Deputy Lawless says it won’t change his stance on Russia.

Senator Fiona O'Louglin says the ban will have little impact.
