Just weeks ago, the Department of Integration told Kfm that discussions were ongoing regarding the site's future.
A spokesperson told Kfm at the time that the site is not being considered to accommodate individuals seeking international protection.
Kfm has contacted the Department of Integration to determine if this is still the case.
The site had been the subject of ongoing protests last year.
