A paramedic, who brought Ms. Hand to hospital the day after the alleged rape, told the jury she had never seen the same intensity of bruising on a patient before.
A doctor has told a civil legal action against Straffan resident Conor McGregor that the woman who claims she was raped by the MMA fighter was diagnosed with PTSD afterwards.
Dr Frank Clarke was giving evidence in a lawsuit brought by 35-year-old, Nikita Hand, who claims she was raped by Mr McGregor and another man in a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
A paramedic, who brought Ms. Hand to hospital the day after the alleged rape, told the jury she had never seen the same intensity of bruising on a patient before.
She said Ms. Hand had bruising around her neck, chest, breast, buttocks and legs; and she also appeared to have a small cut on her chin.
Mr. McGregor and the second named defendant, James Lawrence of Rafter’s Road in Drimnagh, both deny the allegation, claiming they had consensual sex with her.
