Kildare County Council has confirmed that building works are complete on the community facility in Anne Street, Prosperous
Following a question raised by Social Democrats Cllr. Aidan Farrelly at last Friday's Clane-Maynooth MD meeting, the Council said that "the building has been handed over to the community worker and intensive work in now being done with the committee to ensure a smooth transition."
It's understood that this involves the delivery of training in terms of the management of the new community building.
Handover of the building is pending the election of a new Committee at the Annual General Meeting, which has been organised for Tuesday, the 20th of June.
