Carbury GAA Clubhouse Open To Locals Still Impacted By Water And Power Outages

The ESB is welcoming crews from Austria, Finland, the Netherlands and France from today as they look to get power up and running over the next few days.

The Carbury GAA clubhouse is open to locals this morning still impacted by water and power outages.

They said locals can charge phones and laptops and that it is open "for all who need it".

Last night, Clogherinkoe GAA club opened its doors to the public to avail of showers and charging facilities.

180 thousand homes, farms and businesses are still without electricity.

100,000 premises are still without water.

Speaking on Kildare Today, Mary Farrell from the Millrace Lawns Housing Estate in Broadford said elderly residents where she lives are solely reliant on family members to supply water.
