Carbury GAA is celebrating its centenary this weekend, as it was set up in 1925.
The club has won 11 Kildare county senior football championships and were participants in eight successive county finals between 1965 and 1972.
The 1960s and 1970s are considered the "golden era" of the club.
Ollie Crinnigan, an All Star in 1978, and Pat Mangan, a replacement All Star on two occasions, were on the Kildare football team of the millennium.
To celebrate 100 years, Carbury GAA will launch the Centenary Celebration on Saturday, February 15, with a walk up to Carbury Castle from the village at 5pm.
In 1940, supporters of Carbruy GAA took to Carbury Hill and held a bonfire, to celebrate the club's win against Kilcock.
This celebration will be re-enacted on Saturday.
All teams, mentors, parents, club members and the wider community are invited to join in the celebration.
