Celbridge Among Top 20 Best Places to live in Ireland

The Kildare remains in the running for the overall title.

Celbridge has been named as one of the Top 20 Best Places to live in Ireland.

The Kildare town has been placed on the long list of contenders for Irish Times ‘Best Place to Live in Ireland’ competition, and remains in the running for the overall title.

The nomination panel of judges paid tribute to Celbridge’s bustling but welcoming heart and proud Georgian architectural heritage.

Abbeyleix, Tullamore, Killarney and Carrick-on-Shannon are among the other nominees.

The Top 5 finalists will be named later this month, with the overall winner announced on Saturday September 25th.
