That's according to new data released today by the Central Statistics Office, for the period to September 3rd.
It shows the median age of people who have died of the virus in Kildare is 82.
In all, 16,106 people in Kildare have been diagnosed with Covid 19.
Their median age is 35.
This data was last released in May, before the cyber attack on the HSE.
At that time, 12,500 people in Kildare had contracted the virus.
