Masonbrook Holdings Limited has applied for planning permission for 30 homes on a 1.5 hectare site at Barrack Road.
The proposed development includes detached and terraced homes, and 2 vehicular access points off Barrack Road
Kildare's planners are scheduled to publish their determination later.
The development description is as follows:
"a residential development at Barrack Road, Castledermot, on a site area of 1.53ha, consisting of the 30 No. units. The proposed development is comprised of: 12 No. 3 bed, 2 storey semi-detached and terraced houses; 8 No. 4 bed, 2 storey semi-detached houses; 6 No. 2 bed, 2 storey terrace houses; 4 No. 2 bed apartments accommodated in 1 No. 2 storey building; with associated bin and bicycle stores. The proposed development also provides for 2 No. vehicular access points off Barrack Road, outfall drains, landscaping and open spaces, car parking, public lighting and all associated site development works.
