A driver in Sallins has been arrested.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in the town when they "observed this car driving dangerously."
The vehicle was pulled over, the the motorist was found to have already been banned from the road.
A road-side drugs test was administered and Gardai say it was "positive for cocaine."
The motorist has been arrested and proceedings are to follow.
