One man, aged in his 40s, was arrested at the scene.
Over €285,000 worth of various drugs and a firearm were seized during a search operation in Portlaoise.
Shortly before 3pm on Sunday afternoon, Gardaí attached to the Laois Drugs Unit conducted a search of a property as part of Operation Tara.
During the course of the search operation, large quantities of suspected cannabis herb, cocaine and MDMA were seized as well as a small quantity of suspected cannabis resin.
A sawn-off shotgun and ammunition was also seized.
One man, aged in his 40s, was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at a Garda station in the Eastern Region.
Investigations are ongoing.
