Drugs Valued At €18,400 Seized By Kildare Gardai.

Seizures were made in Naas and Newbridge.

Drugs valued at €18,400 have been seized in two separate operations in Kildare.

Gardai on patrol in Newbridge, on Thursday, say a man hide an item and flee.

Gardai "set up an operation and observe the location" and then seized cannabis valued at over €10,000.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

And Gardai have seized drugs valued at €8,000 in Naas.

The seizure was made in the town yesterday, on foot of a search warrant.

A person has been arrested.

Gardai say they are due before the courts shortly.
