A 34-year-old man has been charged after drugs worth over €3.3 million were seized near Lucan.
Officers found cannabis herb, during an investigation of individuals suspected to be involved in organised crime.
Gardai stopped a vehicle in the West Dublin area and uncovered the drugs during a search.
A man was detained and is due before the courts.
A 48-year-old man, who was also arrested, has been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
