€1.1 million in funding has been announced for a new Jigsaw service in Newbridge.

The investment also includes a separate €300,000 for a Specialist Crisis Nursing Team at Naas General Hospital.
Jigsaw is a youth mental health charity providing "free, non-judgmental, and confidential therapy" to young people aged 12-25.
Fianna Fáil Senator for Kildare South Fiona O’Loughlin has welcomed the “much-needed” funding for the mental health service.
In 2023, 14 people died by suicide in Kildare, 12 of whom were male.
