The proposed development includes a high ropes course, zipline, and treetop nets suitable for ages five and over, along with a visitor reception cabin and spectator facilities.

Zipit Forest Adventures Ltd has been allocated €1.2 million for an outdoor activity centre at Donadea.

Agriculture Minister and Kildare South TD Martin Heydon said he's really looking forward to seeing the project come to fruition next year.
