Kildare Fire Service says all venues applying to renew their annual dance licence through the District Court were inspected in advance of the hearings.
Every nightclub and late bar in Naas was inspected by the fire authority last year - and not a single venue triggered a fire safety or closure notice.
The update came after councillors sought clarity on how often premises were checked for fire risk and crowd capacity during 2025.
Kildare Fire Service says all venues applying to renew their annual dance licence through the District Court were inspected in advance of the hearings.
Acting Chief Fire Officer Niall O’Riordan says none of the inspections uncovered breaches that would warrant enforcement action.
Operators must still submit annual safety certificates for fire alarms, emergency lighting and extinguishers, along with professional confirmation that buildings comply with fire regulations.
Maximum occupancy levels are formally set and communicated to both licensees and the District Court.
The fire service said legal responsibility for fire safety ultimately rests with the owner or person in control of each premises under the Fire Services Acts.
