Kfm remains the leading station in county Kildare: ahead of all national and regional heard in the county.
The latest JNLR/Ipsos figures released today, covering 12 months to end of June 2026, underline radio’s remarkable place in the everyday lives of Irish people, with almost 3.5 million adults tuning in on an average weekday.
The results show that radio remains one of Ireland’s most widely shared daily habits. Some 78% of the adult population listens to radio every weekday, while 89% tune in over the course of a week.
Younger audiences also continue to listen in significant numbers. Almost 900,000 15–34-year-olds listen to radio each weekday
Kfm has retained its position as the county’s most listened to radio station – daily and with an increase of 2000 listeners to 72, 000 across the week.
Kfm is also the station listened to longest each day – ahead of all other stations heard in county Kildare. This Market Share results is a key metric for advertisers, confirming their advertising and sponsorship campaigns have the maximum penetration on Kfm.
