Its under the Additional Outdoor Infrastructure Scheme
€160,000 in funding has been allocated to Newbridge under the Additional Outdoor Infrastructure Scheme.
The monies will be used to create parklets in the town centre, where seating may be installed.
It will also facilitate up-grading of cycle infrastructure.
Works will include a temporary narrowing of the carriageway on Main Street Newbridge and the installation of a temporary cycle track from Station Road junction to the junction with Canning Place.
