A male in his 40s was arrested and is currently being detained
As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí from the Dublin Crime Response Team conducted a planned search of a residential property located in the Fortunestown area of Dublin 24 on April 2nd.
An estimated €80,000 worth of cannabis herb was subsequently discovered and seized.
The seized drugs will undergo analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
