Independent.ie reports that the judgement "comes after a two-year long investigation after claims were made about cartel-like activities by Irish insurers were keeping competition out of the market."
Sinn Fein's Finanance Spokesperson, Pearse Doherty, has been speaking to Kildare Today.
He says the issue centres on use of and access to a database.
