A much-loved cafe in Kildare Town is set to close its doors next month.
Strong’s Café and Bistro will shut on November 16th, after nearly seven years in operation.
Owner, Alex Armstrong, said the decision was “not easy” but that the café is “just not sustainable" anymore.
“The reality here is that the government are doing nothing to help small businesses. I'm out of a job and have lost my business and also all my staff are out of jobs," Armstrong said.
Strong’s first opened in November 2018, when Ms Armstrong was just 25 years old.
