Paul Wright, a businessman who lives at Carton Demense in Maynooth, is accused of perjury and fraudulent activity in a Florida lawsuit.
He allegedly used client funds for a lavish lifestyle and misrepresented his wealth, causing over $10 million in losses.

According to the Irish Independent, the lawsuit, filed by Cherish Thompson’s firm TMCT, also accuses Wright of hiding financial information and mismanaging funds.
Wright, accused of misusing client funds to hire private jets and purchase a house for his son, had previously asked a Florida court to dismiss the lawsuit against him, claiming it is the wrong jurisdiction.
