Family Pay Tribute As Man Who died In Newbridge Crash Named Locally As Jerry Maloney

Jerry Maloney, 19, was a passenger in a pickup truck that crashed on the Barretstown Road in Newbridge shortly after 8pm last night.

The family of a man who died in a single vehicle crash in Newbridge have been paying tribute.

Jerry Maloney, 19, was a passenger in a pickup truck that crashed on the Barrettstown Road in Newbridge shortly after 8pm last night.

The young man's brother Gerry took to social media, saying he "will never be the same" without his brother.

Kfm understands that Mr Maloney had only recently got married.

The teenage driver was brought to Tallaght Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
