Figures obtained by Kfm reveal that while fines for littering have steadily increased over the past three years, no fines for illegal dumping were issued in 2023.
The council has admitted it does not have separate figures for littering and illegal dumping readily available.
Littering fines have surged from 91 in 2022 to 182 in 2023, and 268 in 2024, suggesting heightened enforcement.
