No injuries were reported
Firefighters were called out to deal with a fire on the premises of St Brigid's Cathedral in Kildare Town last night.
It's understood a nearby shed went on fire, and the Cathedral was not damaged.
No injuries were reported.
Local Fianna Fail Cllr. Suzanne Doyle posted a video of the blaze on her Facebook page.
In her post, she commended the quick response and efforts of the emergency services .
