The achievement highlights the strength of Kildare's food and drink sector, with more than half of the county's shortlisted producers leaving the event with an award.
Kildare's food industry has enjoyed a major success at this year's Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards, with five producers from the county taking home prizes.
Eight Kildare businesses had been shortlisted for the national awards, with Birds Eye Ireland, Coghlans Bakery Products, Couverture Desserts, Rye River and O'Brien Fine Foods all securing gold, silver or bronze honours.
Couverture Desserts also received the Best in County award for Kildare.
The results were announced in Dingle, where more than 3,000 products across over 200 categories were entered in this year's competition.
