Around Ireland, the HSE is offering a a free flu vaccine for children aged 2-17 ahead of the school term
HSE offering a free children's flu vaccine for children aged 2-17 years around Ireland.
This is taking place today in Newbridge Health Centre Henry St. Moorefield, Newbridge until 4pm, in order to help get children ready for going back to school.
The clinic is offered on a walk in basis and no appointment is needed.
The HSE states that the flu vaccine is safe and effective, helping protect people from flu.
They recommend that the best time to get the flu vaccine is before the flu season starts.
