A number of local projects have received funding under the Local Enhancement Programme 2024.
Both Monasterevin Community Centre and Teach Dhiarmada in Castledermot received the highest amount of funding, at €5,700.
The organisation that received the lowest funding in Kildare is Young Life Ireland in Maynooth, with an amount of €318.
The second lowest funding went to Ballymore Eustace Community Development Association, with an amount of €450.
The funding supports small-scale funding for projects which range from purchasing IT equipment to minor renovations to buildings.
