A 17-year-old from Kilcock, took center stage at the Helix in Dublin on Tuesday, as one of the six young speakers at Child Talks 2023.
The annual World Children’s Day event, hosted by the Ombudsman for Children’s Office, attracted nearly 1,000 schoolchildren from Kildare, Dublin, Wicklow, Cork, Westmeath, Mayo, Roscommon, and Meath.

“I wanted to take part in Child Talks because I was shown it last year when doing work experience in the OCO and felt inspired by all the stories I heard,” Seamus shared.
