The information event with Minister for Sport Charlie McConalogue will take place on Tuesday evening in Newbridge
Update: The meeting has been postponed until April 21st, 2026 at the same location.
Local clubs, volunteers and community groups in Kildare are being invited to a meeting with Minister for Sport, Charlie McConalogue TD, to discuss the upcoming Sports Capital Grants and opportunities within the sporting sector.
Speaking on this morning's Kildare Today, Minister McConalogue explained that the Community Sports Facilities Fund (CSFF) will be happening over the course of the summer.
The information evening aims to inform groups and clubs of the grants application process, and hear directly from the Minister about the grants and supports available to help develop sporting facilities and participation in local communities.
67 groups in Kildare availed of sports grants given from the previous Sport Capital Grants, a number Minister McConalogue says he expects to see again this year, if not more.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday evening at the Keadeen Hotel, beginning at 7pm.
