Kildare County Council has confirmed that the Kildare Readers Festival will take place across venues in the county from 4th to 14th October 2025.
The free festival, celebrating books, ideas and conversation, brings readers and writers together through workshops, panels and performances.
Highlights include Dermot Bolger’s Sunday Sessions with Keith Donald and Eoin McNamee, the return of Ten Books You Should Read with Rick O’Shea and Hazel Gaynor, and events featuring Dr. Marie Cassidy, crime writers Catherine Ryan Howard and Andrea Mara.
Other guests include beer historian Dr. Christina Wade, Iranian author Roxana Manouchehri, debut writers Roisín O’Donnell and Brendan McEvilly.
