The incident occured last Friday at 2.20am
Gardaí are appealing for information following a burglary in Kildare House on Claregate street last Friday at 2.20am.
Three masked and gloved men carrying a crowbar smashed the front window of the shop, and one male gained entry.
The owner of the shop, who lives upstairs, frightened them off.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact Kildare Garda station on 045 527 730.
