The incident occurred last Friday on Limerick Lane at 4pm
Gardaí are appealing for information following an incident that occurred Friday last in Newbridge at 4pm, where a woman's bag was stolen.
The woman was walking from Limerick Lane towards Henrey Street, when a male approached her on a bike.
The male proceeded to grab her handbag and push her to the ground, causing injuries.
The male then fled the scene.
The bike used was a multi-coloured folding bicycle, and has since been recovered by Gardaí.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who have seen this type of bike being used around Newbridge recently or who has any information regarding this incident to contact Newbridge Gardaí on 045 440 180.
