The man in his 40s was found dead in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

She was treated for her injuries at Naas General Hospital, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí later attended the scene of the alleged assault - a home in the George's lane area - and found the body of a man in his 40s.
Investigations are ongoing, but it's believed Gardai are not treating the man's death as suspicious.
